Wildfires raging across Canada have impacted professional sports in the United States.

Major League Baseball (MLB) announced today that it has postponed the Philadelphia and Detroit games scheduled for today at Citizens Bank 먹튀검증 Park in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and the New York Yankees and White Sox at Yankee Stadium in New York, New York, due to poor air quality from the wildfires in Canada.

The Yankees-White Sox game has been pushed back to a doubleheader on Sept. 9, and the Philadelphia-Detroit game to a day off.

It’s not just MLB. The U.S. Women’s Professional Soccer game between the Orlando Pride and Gotham FC in New Jersey, U.S., and the U.S. Women’s Professional Basketball game between the Minnesota Lynx and New York Liberty in Brooklyn, N.Y., were also canceled.

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) also issued an air quality alert for more than 100 million people.
