Durant’s one-man show overturned the game with ’26 points bombing in the third quarter only’

No one could stop Durant in the third quarter.

The Brooklyn Nets won 124-121 in a game against the Detroit Pistons in the 2022-2023 NBA regular season held at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit on the 19th (hereinafter Korean time).

In the first half of the game, 토토 Detroit dominated Brooklyn. They had an advantage in both offense and defense, and at one point widened the score gap to 19 points.

However, in the third quarter, a player appeared like a savior and overturned the game by himself. It was Brooklyn ace Kevin Durant.

Durant, who finished the first half with 13 points, showed a superhuman performance in the third quarter, scoring 26 points by himself, scoring three 3-pointers and seven free throws. Especially in the last 50 seconds of the 3rd quarter, I could feel his class in the scene where he made three consecutive 3-point shots.

The score for the third quarter was 44-25. Literally, Durant outdid Detroit by himself. Brooklyn, who started the third quarter behind by 17 points, took the lead right before the end of the third quarter thanks to Durant’s performance.

Durant, who easily cooked the opponent’s defense with his unique high shooting RBI and soft steps, finished the game with 43 points and 6 rebounds and a field goal success rate of 63.6% (14/22). It was the second time this season that Durant scored over 40 points in a game, and scoring 26 points in a quarter was his career high.

Durant is averaging 30.4 points, 6.6 rebounds and 5.3 assists in 30 games this season, proving he’s still in his prime. In particular, his field goal success rate has reached 56.5%, the highest since his debut, and he has maintained a hot fingertip sense throughout the season.

With this victory, Brooklyn, which won 6 consecutive wins, washed away the sluggishness at the beginning of the season and jumped to 4th place in the Eastern Conference with a record of 19 wins and 12 losses. Brooklyn’s next opponent, which is aiming for a 7-game winning streak, is Golden State, which it will meet at home on the 22nd.
