A motorsports festival that spans across Asia is coming to Yeongam-gun, South Jeolla Province, this June.

On June 4, the ‘2023 Asian Motorsport Carnival’ will be held at the Korea International Racecourse (KIC) in Yeongam-gun, Jeollanam-do.스포츠토토The event, which began in 2014 with the aim of exchanging Asian motorsports cultures, will feature the Porsche Carrera Cup Asia and the Kawasaki Ninja Cup.

The Porsche Carrera Cup Asia is a one-make competition in Porsche 911 GT3 Cup (3,996 cubic centimeters, 510 horsepower) cars, with a total of 21 foreign drivers from six countries, including China, Hong Kong, and Malaysia.

The event, which will tour the Asian region, kicked off in April at the Sepang International Circuit in Malaysia and will conclude with rounds three and four at Yeongam KIC on June 3-4.

In addition, the Kawasaki Ninja Cup is a race with the same specification bikes. A total of 21 riders have been named to the entry list, including rider Hiroki Ono (JPN), who was crowned the overall champion of the 2021-2022 season in the J-GP3 class of the Japan Road Race Championship.

The event will be held in conjunction with the third round of the 2023 CJ Logistics Super Race Championship on June 4.
